The Foundation for Excellence

The Foundation for Excellence (FFE) supports deserving and talented students admitted to Engineering and Medical schools in India but lacking necessary financial resources. For the last twenty-four years, FFE has helped these students pursue higher education, instead of needing to drop out. FFE scholars have benefited from 52,027scholarships. Additionally, FFE helps with mentoring students so they have successful careers. After graduation, FFE scholars have gone on to pursue careers at large corporations such as Intel, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, eBay, and Cisco. Some have managed to study further at US universities.

Typically, FFE provides scholarships to students whose parents are household servants, street vendors, landless laborers and rickshaw drivers. Without help, these bright minds would be stuck in a circle of hopelessness and poverty. A critical reason for FFE’s success is the generous donations of over $19.97 million from FFE supporters. 100% of these donations go directly to the students. Funding empowers these bright minds to fulfill their dreams and elevate their families from poverty. FFE alumni pay forward by committing to support at least two future bright minds. Unfortunately, many more students cannot pursue their dreams because we need more funding to support them.
