The International Association of Human Values (IAHV), which is a partner organization of the Art of Living Foundation will be one of the beneficiaries of the San Jose Sharks’ Goal For Kids program this season. For every goal scored by the Sharks, the Sharks Foundation will award $1000 to Bay Area organizations committed to working with underserved communities.
The IAHV will direct the received funds to its SKY School program, which helps Bay Area schools become safer and the students more successful through training and other interventions. “Their support enables us to offer stress-reduction programs, especially in underserved communities, to empower teachers, parents, and students to learn and adopt positive coping skills. One more step towards creating stress-free, violence-free school communities,” said Priya Mayureshwar, Director, SKY Schools, San Francisco Bay Area about the Sharks’ support.
