After several critically acclaimed albums, videos and film scores, Indian Ocean brings its powerful improvisations to the Bay Area.

Across Arts Foundation in collaboration with Isha Foundation presents Indian Ocean, one of India’s leading contemporary fusion bands. Merging rhythmic jazz and rock elements with inspired classical melodies, Indian Ocean’s music covers topics ranging from sufism and shlokas, folklore, environmentalism and revolution.

Part of the proceeds from the concert will benefit the Isha Foundation, an international nonprofit organization engaged in rebuilding and educating rural communities and replenishing the environment through mass tree plantings. Across Arts is a California based not-for-profit organization that supports diversity in art, reaching out to a global audience of art enthusiasts, and and works to link arts events to charitable causes.
