Day of Peace

Who doesn’t need a Day of Peace?

The San Jose Woman’s Club in collaboration with Be the Change Collective and Farmworker Caravan are inviting people to join them for a Day of Peace. Inspired by the venerable monks on the Walk for Peace and the chaos of the day they decide on a whim to create a day where people can gather in peace with no politics or phones allowed.  

The event takes place this Sunday, February 22nd from 1-4pm at their historic clubhouse in downtown San Jose. Guests will be able to learn ancient to modern, mental, physical and spiritual health practices of Qi Gong, Yoga & Sound Therapy to Crocheting, Knitting & Origami. Nature folks can go on a 2 mile walk to see downtown art or learn to attract butterflies and birds to your backyard. To see the full schedule of activities visit FarmworkerCaravan.org
