Dance Workshops with with Sarmishtha Sarkar

Ishti Collective offers four workshop opportunities July 22 and 23, 2022 with Sarmishtha Sarkar, renowned Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer and educator from Ahmedabad, India. The workshop series has a sliding scale $20-40 and is intended for movement artists of all genres to broaden techniques in rhythm, expression and choreography. The series will be followed by a free Open Labs event, including an artist talk with Sarkar and an in-process sharing of Ishti’s latest production, Antara bhava, a ‘sensorial experience’ exploring humanity’s impermanence.
