From March 2nd – 22nd, Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda will be leading eN-Effect, a breakthrough Global Peace Initiative, where thousands of people from around the world and from all walks of life are participating to raise the collective consciousness of the humanity. This program will be conducted via live video streaming from the ashram headquarters in Bidadi, India.

The eN-Effect, short for the “enlightening Nithyananda Effect”, gives the experience of Kundalini energy awakening, levitation, high state of awareness, bliss, healing, improved health, creativity, increased productivity and energy levels and ultimately, rapid transformation to higher consciousness. Kundalini awakening is a practice that has been passed on from master to disciple for centuries. In this cyber-age, Paramahamsa Nithyananda is sharing the remarkable ancient science for the 21st Century, aims to awake the Kundalini even for those viewing through the Internet. Whether participants have done extensive meditative practices or not, they can still experience this intense radiation of energy by sitting physically or virtually in Nithyananda’s presence.

The aim of the program is start with change in the individual, who in turn, radiates and affects his/her surrounding community. The idea is that when this internal transformation takes place, each person approaches life with much greater consideration, love for others, and dynamism to implement workable solutions. When individuals with such energy awakening gather together, they create the eN-Effect or coherence of cosmic consciousness, also known as collective consciousness. This
further leads to tangible results at the social level like reduced crime rate, increased conscious and holistic living, and global peace.

Be part of this global peace process to raise the collective consciousness.

India Currents had the opportunity to speak with Bhakta Swami, a close associate of Swami NItyananda who is in California to promote the project.

Was there a moment during the events of last year when you felt your faith wavering?

No, not even once. I know my master and what I have experienced with him. He is rooted in love and compassion and  has never said or done anything that could have shaken my faith. Every enlightened master throughout history has been tortured and tested and this was his test.

What is in Swami Nityananda’s message that finds such widespread appeal across continents?

He connects to the core of a being—universal values that apply to all. Be it a child or an adult or a senior, be it a small crowd or a large gathering, he has the ability to address each person as if he is the only person in the room and has his total attention. He is very adept at using technology. He is the most watched guru onTV worldwide.

What is the single biggest challenge to humanity today?

Deterioration of social structure. The guru shishya parampara has been destabilized. People have focused on enhancing their outer world, but no effort has been made to expand their inner life, an inner awakening.

What advice would you give people who lead busy lives and can’t seem to find the time for spiritual growth?

Find in in your heart to support someone who does want to explore spirituality—be tolerant if your children want to do this.
