Author Archives: Tapasya Bali

Tapasya Bali is an entrepreneur with a background in market and credit risk. She is the co-founder of Vedic Tiger (www.vedictiger.com), a wellness brand inspired by Ayurveda. During the 2008 financial crisis, she worked closely with the Federal Reserve on the hedge fund risk financing desk at Credit Suisse. She played a critical role in maintaining market leverage and avoiding a sell-off.

While at East West Bank, Tapasya worked with early-stage venture-backed startups. Earlier, she co-founded Yogasmoga, an athletic apparel company.

Tapasya holds an MBA in Quantitative Finance from NYU and an MS in Business Information Systems from Baruch College. She resides in Los Angeles, California.
