Agnee is a UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism student in the narrative and data journalism track. Before coming to Berkeley, she was a freelance reporter in India for two years, covering the beats of gender, health, environment, and labor rights. Her work has been published in several news publications like Undark, BBC, NPR, Atmos, and Vice.
After coming to Berkeley, she reported on public transportation in Oakland for her school publication, Oakland North, and that gave her a taste and a love for reporting on local communities.
Right now, she's interested in working with social media tools to drive awareness of news stories for an organization and build a loyal customer base through audience engagement.
