Aditi Biswas embarked on her career as an IT professional in the US. She started teaching English as a foreign language at the British Council, Kolkata when she moved back to India to be with her aging parents.
She loves to write, be it fiction, memoirs, travelogs, anecdotes or short stories. She believes that writing is the soul food which inspires the sense of freedom of her thoughts, experiences and imaginations. The pen helps her weave a colorful and emotionally rich world where characters, places and events come alive.
She was adjudged the winner of a short story competition by Ms Anjum Katyal, former chief editor of Seagull Books. After returning to California, she continues to write on topics that are significant, socially relevant and thought provoking.
