Aaradhya goes to Paris

Aaradhya, an 11-year-old artist from Singapore, is set to make history as the youngest participant at the prestigious Art Capital Paris 2025, hosted at the iconic Grand Palais Éphémère. Her inclusion in the historic Salon des Artistes Français, a platform that has showcased luminaries like Auguste Rodin, Édouard Manet, and Camille Claudel, heralds a new era in global art, positioning her as a prodigy with extraordinary promise. Aaradhya’s inclusion is a moment of immense pride not only for her but also for India, as she carries her heritage to one of the world’s most esteemed art stages.

This moment is not only a celebration of Aaradhya’s immense talent but also a recognition of art as an investment in creativity and innovation.

Child prodigy

Born in Delhi, Aaradhya’s journey began with colorful sketches on the walls of her home, a reflection of her innate creativity. Today, her artworks are celebrated internationally for their vivid imagery and depth, blending themes of culture, identity, and environmental awareness.

Her Paris debut will feature her surrealist piece, The Eye of Nature, which explores humanity’s relationship with the environment—a theme that resonates deeply with her Indian roots and global perspective.

The Eye of Nature

Aaradhya’s Paris debut will feature her surrealist piece, The Eye of Nature, an evocative exploration of humanity’s delicate relationship with the environment—a theme that resonates deeply with her Indian roots and global perspective. Dominated by a vivid green eye encircled by water and trees, the piece symbolizes awareness, resilience, and the interconnectedness of life.

“My art is an invitation to pause and reflect on the beauty and fragility of our planet,” says Aaradhya. Her ability to address universal themes through vivid imagery and emotional depth situates her as a profound voice within the contemporary art discourse.

A Path Shaped by Mentors, Community, and Spirituality

Aaradhya’s artistic evolution is also a story of mentorship and a testament to the supportive communities that nurtured her creativity. In Delhi, Ms. Dipti who recognized her talent early, played a pivotal role in shaping her technical foundation and thematic exploration. She encouraged Aaradhya to explore meaningful themes, including an elephant rescue campaign, while teachers at the German School and American School recognized her potential early.

Aaradhya’s Indian heritage remains at the heart of her work. Her love for vibrant colors and storytelling reflects her cultural roots, while her spirituality has also been a quiet yet powerful influence; a cherished statue of Lord Ganesha, colored by Aaradhya at age six, remains a symbol of her bond with creativity and faith.

In Singapore, Aaradhya’s growth accelerated under the guidance of Little Artists Art Studio, where structured mentorship allowed her to experiment and refine her craft, culminating in her debut exhibition at a TEDx event at UWCSEA in 2023 as its youngest participant.

Singapore: A Catalyst for Growth

“Singapore has contributed so much to my development,” Aaradhya shares. “Here, it feels like anything is possible.” The country’s supportive environment has allowed her to explore interests beyond art, contributing to her comprehensive growth. Singapore Airlines has gone a step further and supports her in her travels to Paris for the exhibition.

These experiences, coupled with Aaradhya’s innate connection to art, have prepared her to engage with audiences on a global stage.
