Voice of SAP (VOSAP) raised over $1,000,000 in the annual fundraiser held on September 21 2024 to empower Specially Abled People. The event was attended by eminent local philanthropists and dignitaries along with volunteers, donors, and VOSAP Igniters.

On this occasion, the Artesia (California) City Council recognized the VOSAP mission with a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Tony Lima, presented by Pro Tem Mayor Ali Sajjad Taj to VOSAP founders.

VOSAP founder Pranav Desai presented the transforming impact on 27,000+ lives of Specially Abled People. He shared Vision 2047 and the unique opportunity for donors to contribute to the Indian economy by up to $ 1 Trillion by 2047. During his presentation, examples showcased the multiplier effect – how a donation of as little as $100 could boost the economy by $10,000. This message of empowerment-led economic contribution resonated with the donors.

Desai also presented the project HITARTH, launched in May 2024, a VOSAP healthcare intervention in India. VOSAP is strengthening the Government of India’s NIRAMAYA program for the masses by paying social workers to help families of intellectually disabled avail of much-needed health care services up to Rs 1 lakh.

VOSAP Chief Patrons Shri Manubhai and Rikaben Shah who shared a poem they wrote about VOSAP’s vision and mission, encouraged everyone to donate and pledged to match up to $500,000.

VOSAP has inspired youth for several years; a youth volunteer since 2017 who is now a very successful entrepreneur, pledged to donate $50,000.

Sparsh Shah, a VOSAP youth ambassador, entertained the audience with a musical performance during which he was joined by volunteers Dr. Dhiren Buch and Priyanka Dujari.

The event was attended by VOSAP’s founding patron Shri BU and Pushpa Patel of Tarsadia Foundation and several philanthropists, community and tech sector leaders.
