Locals Aryaman Suri, Amogh Arepally and Manav Nayak are a part of the 15-man squad announced by USA Cricket for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 in South Africa.
The team qualified for the event thanks to a successful campaign at the qualifiers in Toronto in 2023. This is the first time since 2010 that the USA team will be playing in the event.
Rishi Ramesh has been selected as the captain of the team, and Utkarsh Srivastava will be his deputy. The team’s campaign will begin when they leave for South Africa on January 6. They will play two unofficial warm-up games before their first official match against Namibia in Pretoria.
