The American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI) conferred its Lifetime Achievement award to Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian at its 35th National Conference, the ASEIcon2023. The conference took place on September 30, 2023 at Southfield, Michigan. Over 400 attendees heard from more than 30 speakers from the fields of research, engineering, entrepreneurship, and business management.
Among other notable awards at ASEIcon2023, Dheeraj Pandey of DevRev won ASEI Entrepreneur of the Year; Dr. Nina Tandon of Epibone was ASEI Scientist of the Year; and Rama Akkiraju of NVIDIA was declared ASEI Engineer of the Year in AI.
