Suvidha International Foundation, a nonprofit organization, conducted a donation drive for winter clothing in Sacramento. A team of volunteers collected more than 500 jackets, sweaters, socks, jeans, and scarves and distributed them to economically disadvantaged students of Kinney High School and their families on December 11, 2024.
The Rotary E-Club of Silicon Valley Health & Wellness and the Rotary Club of Rancho Cordova also supported the initiative, which was spearheaded by 22 youth volunteers. More than 200 families were beneficiaries of the drive.
The adult volunteers of the service initiative included Bhaskar Vempati, President of Suvidha International Foundation; Prachi Raichura, member of the Rotary E-Club of Silicon Valley Health & Wellness; Vandna Sharma, CFO of Suvidha International Foundation; and the parents of youth volunteers.
