“The Struggle to Serve” is a short documentary film that highlights the perseverance of three Sikh American soldiers who worked to end discrimination in our nation’s armed services.
The film encapsulaties the six-year campaign to end discrimination by the U.S. Department of Defense, the largest employer in America.
“I couldn’t believe that Sikh Americans have to choose between their faith and service to their country. That’s a false choice that nobody should have to make,” says Matthew Rogers who produced and co-directed the film.
