Shreya Patel, a 9-year-old Indian American girl from Schaumburg, Illinois served The Obamas a Garam Masala burger during the annual “Kids’ State Dinner” (which is organised by The White House), and won the competition. There were 55 kids that participated in this competition. This competition concentrated on making a healthy lunch recipe. Shreya had prepared ‘garam masala’ Quinoa Burger with she served with raita. After winning this, she was sent an invitation to dine with none other than the First Lady of the USA, Michelle Obama.
“I love to mix, measure, chop, and even clean up afterwards,” said Shreya. That is admirable! She had enhanced the Burger dish with garam masala, cumin, ginger, and grated serrano chillies.
