Sam Bahadur, the 2023 Bollywood film about the life of former Indian Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw will premiere on ZEE5 Global on January 26, India’s 75th Republic Day. The Meghna Gulzar directed film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub also play supporting roles.
The film chronicles Manekshaw’s illustrious military career as a soldier and later, the Chief of Staff of the Indian Army during the 1971 war. He was also the first Officer of the Indian Army to attain the rank of Field Marshal in 1973.
The film will be available to stream on ZEE5 Global starting January 26.
