Over the weekend, the Ambani family hosted lavish pre-wedding celebrations for younger son Anant Ambani’s marriage to Radhika Merchant, which will take place in July. The celebrations took place in the city of Jamnagar, and a Reuters report suggests that around 1200 people were invited, including many high-profile personalities from the worlds of sports, music, film, and business.
Among others, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerburg; former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates; and Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump attended, while Rihanna performed live on stage. Mukesh Ambani, the head of the family has a net worth of more than $100 billion and is the richest man in Asia. Previously, he held similarly grand celebrations for the weddings of his daughter Isha in 2018, and son Akash in 2020.
