After weeks of inclement weather, the Gujarati Cultural Association’s annual Kite Festival celebrating Makar Sankranti finally occurred on a sunny day at Central Park in Fremont, Calif. on Jan. 27, 2024. Here’s a look at how some families enjoyed the day.
