India’s Oscar Nominated Co-production Short Film In Theaters February 10


 A German couple adopts in Kolkata an Indian orphan. Their child suddenly disappears and they realize that they are part of the problem.

The Indian/German live action short film Raju, directed by Max Zähle, is nominated for this year’s Academy Awards. The film is included in the ShortsHD/Magnolia Pictures theatrical release of the Oscar-nominated short films opening in theatres around the country starting on February 10.

In Los Angeles and Orange County the film will open at Landmark’s The Nuart Theatre, West LA and in Orange County at Regency Theatres’ South Coast Village Plaza, Santa Ana.

On February 24, the nominated animation short films will open at Laemmle’s Town Center 5, Encino; Laemmle’s Pasadena Playhouse 7, Pasadena.
