Starting October 26, the Indian High Commission has resumed the issuance of business, medical and conferences visas to Canadian citizens. Additionally, standard entry visas will also be issued to individuals with ties to India.

Visa services were suspended in September during a diplomatic fallout between the two governments, after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau drew links between the murder of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar and India.

For more information about available visa services, visit the High Commission’s website.
