India Currents won three awards at the prestigious 2023 California Ethnic Media Expo and Symposium on August 31 2023.
Ritu Marwah won 2nd place for Outstanding International Reporting, while Honorable Mentions were awarded to Sree Sripathy, India Currents Staff Photographer for Outstanding Photojournalism, and to Prem Pariyar for Outstanding Editorial/Commentary/Print.
