The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) is excited to announce the VidyA Reunion Concert on this year’s musical line-up. Join us for an afternoon of Carnatic jazz music on Saturday, May 4th at the Community Music Center, located in San Francisco’s Mission District.
VidyA was founded by Prasant Radhakrishnan (tenor sax), David Ewell (bass), and Sameer Gupta (drums) in 2005 and delighted audiences with their organic combination of Carnatic and jazz music. These musical brothers took a hiatus due to relocations in the band, but now with everyone back in town, VidyA is excited to play for the Bay Area once again.
