In a unique & experiential encounter With the ‘Mandala’, a powerful meditation tool. The Artist will lead us on a journey of The Body: Inner and Outer Worlds

Drawing from her exhibition ‘Samsara & Metamorphosis: The Mystical World of Seema Kohli’, on View at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, Feb. 27-Mar. 1, 2026, the artist will reflect on themes
of continuity, meditation, and the dialogue between her inner and outer worlds.

Framed through cosmic dualities —sky and earth, sun and moon, within and without— the talk will touch on the ‘mandala’ as a mental and cosmic structure of balance and order.

With ‘bija’ mantra recitations and insights connecting a ‘mandala’ installation at the PAAC, a collaborative SACHI gift, this talk offers a resonant exploration of art, reflection, and interconnectedness.

Distinguished contemporary artist, Seema Kohli’s practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance. Her work brings together memory, mythology, spirituality and lived experience, inviting reflection and contemplation. Kohli’s work has been featured in international exhibitions including a solo exhibition at the Museum of Sacred Art, Belgium (2019), and the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2016). Her work resides in institutional collections that include the British Museum, the Rubin Museum, NY, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has been invited to present at TEDx, Harvard Univ., the Univ. of Chicago, Univ. of California, Davis & more.
