The 418 Project Gathering in Gratitude NYE 2025

Sitar virtuoso and worldbeat pioneer Ashwin Batish will headline New
Year’s Eve at The 418 Project’s Gathering in Gratitude 2025, bringing Sitar Power, an
unforgettable fusion of classical Indian music and Western beats, to downtown Santa
Cruz. This performance marks Batish’s highly anticipated return to the stage after a five-
year hiatus.

Gathering in Gratitude offers more than just a concert—attendees can expect an entire
evening of music, dance, and visual arts, with performances by the soul-folk revival
band MaMuse, aerial dancers Cloud Mirage Circus, belly dance troupe Shekinah, and
much more. Proceeds from the event will benefit local artists and the non-profit 418
Project, which fosters creativity and inclusivity within the community.
