Tarangini Performs in ‘Colors of Kathak’

Tarangini will perform on Friday, September 27 in San Francisco for “Colors of Kathak,” organized by the San Francisco Mehfils and Sanjivani. Tarangini will present the Lucknow gharana in items choreographed by Anuradha Nag.

Eminent Kathak dancer Vishal Krishna (grandson of the legendary late Sitara Devi) will present the Banaras gharana. Vishal was invited to perform at Tarangini’s 30th anniversary show in May 2023 and the performance — his first in the US — was an audience favorite.
