South Asians in Silicon Valley: A Legacy of Community Media, Journalism, and Storytelling

The South Asians in Silicon Valley Initiative at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library, San José State University, invites you to a special event to celebrate the launch of a new digital exhibit.

On February 7th, we will inaugurate a new digital exhibit honoring South Asians in Silicon Valley: A Legacy of Community Media, Journalism, and Storytelling. The exhibit documents the history, impact, and future of South Asian community media in the Bay Area, highlighting print, radio, television, and digital platforms that have amplified community voices and preserved the histories of immigrants.

Join us for an in-person panel conversation featuring inspiring journalists and media leaders from KQED, NPR, India Currents, MedCity News, Radio Zindagi, Bolly 92.3 FM, Diya TV, and other prominent media outlets.
