These recreations, upholding the dignity and spirit of handloom weaves, not only honor the legacy of public figures like Mrs. Gandhi, but also pay tribute to the saris worn by our grandmothers as a living memory. In reviving saris with care, lies an assurance that the weavers involved are supported with dignity and sustainable livelihood.
