October Domestic Violence Awareness: Film Screening in San Jose, Oct 6th

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and in support of this critical cause, we have produced a deeply moving film titled “It’s Time To Break The Silence”, which aims to raise awareness about domestic violence, particularly in the South Asian community.

Film Description:

“Silence” is a touching portrayal of courage and perseverance in the face of adversity. It offers a heartfelt realization that every individual is worthy of love and respect. The film weaves together the stories of survivors—each a testament to the strength it takes to break free from fear and oppression. It carries a powerful message of hope, illustrating that even the darkest of shadows can be overcome with resolve.

Inspired by true events, this film is a poignant reminder of the silent battles many fight, and we believe it will touch hearts and open eyes to the realities of domestic violence.

This film is supported by renowned organizations like Maitri and Disha Darshan in the Bay Area, whose leaders attended the film’s premiere. Another screening will take place on Sunday, October 6th, at 12:30 PM at AMC Eastridge Theater in San Jose.
