Guitar Prasanna, the pioneering virtuoso fusion guitarist is coming to the Bay Area on September 14!
Schedule of events:
9:30 a.m.: “Rock It Up”, a workshop for guitar, bass, and keyboard players.
11:30 a.m.: “Raga It Up”, a Carnatic guitar workshop.
2 p.m.: “Understanding the music of Ilaiyaraja”, Lec-Dem/Musical Presentation (open to all music lovers. No specific music knowledge necessary.
5 p.m.: “RASA”, a pure Carnatic guitar concert
6:30 p.m.: Contrasts – Prasanna plays the music of Ilaiyaraaja and A.R. Rahman
