Grand Three-Day Celebration at the 11th Annual Ganesh Utsav 2026
SILICON VALLEY, CA — Radio Zindagi, the premier South Asian radio network in the United
States, is proud to announce the return of the 11th Annual Ganesh Utsav. Recognized as the
largest Ganesh festival in the USA, this highly anticipated three-day celebration of faith, family,
and cultural heritage will take place on September 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2026.
Initially launched in 2015 as a community gathering at NewPark Mall, Ganesh Utsav has grown
into a massive Bay Area tradition. Over the past decade, the festival has expanded across
major Silicon Valley cities—including Newark, Milpitas, Santa Clara, and San Jose—drawing
tens of thousands of devotees and families annually.

● The Suspense of the Custom Idol: As is tradition, the heart of the festival features a
beautifully adorned Ganesh idol custom-designed and shipped directly from India. Each
year, the deity’s unique grand look is kept as a strict suspense, only to be unveiled with
immense splendor on the opening day of the festival.
● Handcrafted Ram Lalla Murthi: Devotees will have the rare opportunity to pay respects
to a meticulously handcrafted replica of the original Ayodhya Ram Lalla idol.
● Grand Performance Stage: The festival will showcase a massive entertainment lineup
featuring over 1,000 performers representing premier Bay Area dance and music
schools.
● Bhajan Clubbing & DJ Music – For music lovers, Ganesh Utsav is one event where
Devotion expresses itself through music- be it bhajans, artis or high energy foot tapping
music where everyone loses themselves in the celebration of our adorable Bappa
● Traditional Parades & Dhol Rallies: Experience the vibrant energy of Mumbai-style
celebrations with live Lezim performances, heavy Dhol-Tasha rallies, and festive
community processions.
● Miniature Ganesh Zones: Wander through curated zones showcasing miniaturized
replicas of the most famous Ganesh idols from across the globe.
● Culinary Feast: A curated street-food experience featuring sumptuous, authentic Indian
vegetarian food stalls from all over the bay
