I look forward to sharing with you voices of early women writers from the Indian subcontinent, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Join me on May 3 & 4, 2025, as I bring to life the words of a remarkable author and poet through dance, music, and spoken word. I’m honored to be accompanied by the incredible Bay Area musicians.
Innumerable women poets and writers of South Asian origin remain relatively unknown. Words that interrogate injustice, with searing questions of gender and faith, raising their voices. It’s time that we listened for our sake!
