25th Mahasivartri Dance Celebration
Om Namah Sivaya!! We are very excited to invite you to our 25th Mahasivaratri Dance Celebration, entitled . Please mark your calendars and join us on this auspicious night, when Lord Shiva will be so pleased with our offerings.
We will celebrate Mahasivaratri with an Offering of Classical Indian Dances from our Bay Area community, with a few other surprises thrown in. We have arrived at the 25th year milestone of this event, and want to express our gratitude for the grace of Guru, grace of the divine couple Shiva/Parvati, our volunteers and our community of artists/rasikas.

A big thank you to Pastor Dana Bainbridge for not just allowing us to use the space but going the extra mile to encourage us, for the Church is very busy with services on Sundays!!
I want to thank Smita Garg for giving me a gentle push (when a not-so-gentle one was needed) to get me started; and for sharing her insights. I want to thank Kavita who is returning from India, Shobana Swamy whose strength and skill I rely upon, Shirni Kanth, Ganesh Vasudeva, Nirupama Vaidhyanathan, Kanchana Venkat for standing strong with this. I am thankful to Rekha Alur and Meenakshi Srinivasan and Sharmila Gopinathan for their positivity and support, and to so many others.
It’s a 2-day event for the first time, so if anyone would like to volunteer, please let me know right away of your interest and availability for each day( set-up, takedown, making prasad, stage decor, help with logistics, word-processing, flier making (simple one), flowers, tech, auditorium)
