Cricket Ontario vs. CCA U17 Visitors Coverage Cup


42California Cricket Academy (CCA) and Cricket Council of Ontario (CCO), Canada continued their tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving with a tournament. The CCO team consisting of 15 players and 2 officials played 4 games that included two T20, one 45 over game and one rain interrupted 25 over game.

3 CCA teams including one development team played against visiting Ontario province team consisting of several Canada national team players and probables. Canada team was coached by Faroukh Kirmani and their mananager was Mike Henry. The CCA team coach was Dashrath Sankhe.

“This is the second time CCA hosted Cricket Council of Ontario U17 team during Thanksgiving and coincidentally both time bi-lateral series has ended up in a draw,” says Hemant Buch, founder of the California Cricket Academy.

The tournament was made possible by title sponsors VisitorsCoverage, Think Palm Technologies and Arkrit. Their sponsorship helped the academy take care of hotel and other game related expenses for the visiting team. Santa Clara Cricket club of Bay area prepared their full size field to give the players the best playing condition and experience.
