The Bhangra & Beats Night Market, San Francisco’s only night market celebrating South Asian and Indian culture, will return for two dates in 2025, the event organizers announced. The free, all-ages event will take place on Fridays, July 25th and October 24th from 5-10 pm. The October 24th event will also host the second official City and County of San Francisco Diwali Celebration.
This year, the market will expand to include Front Street between California and Clay Streets and Sacramento Street between Davis and Battery Streets. The expansion will include the city’s first entertainment zone on Front Street.
“I’m thrilled the Bhangra and Beats Night Market is returning for a third year to celebrate South Asian culture and the community’s contributions to our city,” said Mayor Daniel Lurie. “This event will strengthen local businesses and transform Front Street into a thrilling hub of arts, culture, and entertainment.”
Since its launch, the event has drawn over 70,000 visitors and generated an estimated $3.6M in spending at downtown businesses. The event is supported by San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
“We’re incredibly excited for the return of Bhangra & Beats to the city streets of San Francisco! This year, we’re proud to be serving flavors as bold and joyful as the music itself,” said Ranjan Dey, chef and owner of New Delhi Restaurant and a Bhangra & Beats Night Market vendor.
