Cultural Traditions and Sacred Rituals

The day’s program included the Maha Mangal Aarti, invoking blessings of peace and prosperity, followed by the Durga Ma Rath Yatra chariot procession. Devotional chants, traditional music, and a parade accompanied the chariot across the fairgrounds.

The event also featured the Ram Leela, a dramatized performance of the Ramayana that retold the traditional epic on stage.

Ravan Dahan and Finale Fireworks

A 40-foot effigy of Ravana – the central feature of the evening – was set ablaze to mark the Ravan Dahan, symbolizing the victory of righteousness over evil. The celebration concluded with a synchronized fireworks display set to music.
