The Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC) is hosting the 2023 National AANHPI Unity Summit from September 25-27, 2023 in Washington D.C. The two-day summit is a platform for multiple Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander organizations to gather and discuss issues like racial discrimination, prevention of hate crimes, civil rights and immigration reform.

The Summit will also be promoting Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthy’s Bill which seeks to increase the number of H1-B visas granted to highly-skilled immigrants in the United States.

On September 26, the AAUC will present its resolution on the Alien Land Laws at a press conference. These laws have historically restricted individuals who are domiciled in certain countries from purchasing land in the United States.

On September 27, 20 delegates from AANHPI organizations will attend a White House briefing to discuss the issues brought up during the summit.
