Goa-born electronic music producer and DJ Anish Sood – who goes by stage name Anyasa – has concluded his 2024 United States tour this month. The tour comprised shows at Station 1640 in Los Angeles on May 22; Bang Bang in San Diego on May 24; and the Ubbi Dubbi Festival in Dallas on May 25.
Anyasa, who is known for blending melodic electronica with Indian Classical music, is signed to house music label Anjunadeep and is currently on a world tour that will end at Anjunadeep Explorations 2024 on June 17th and 18th, in Albania.
“It’s always exciting to play in new cities and the audiences have been very welcoming,” he said about his American tour. “Some of the bigger markets had more fans at the show and they were more clued into my original music while for some of the smaller markets I played a slightly different set with not too many Indian vocals.” Anyasa is set to return to the U.S. for a handful of shows in the fall, and then for an extensive tour next summer.
