For the first time in Los Angeles, four distinctive Bharata Natyam artists come together on one stage for a rare celebration of one of India’s great dance traditions. Each brings a unique artistic vision, creating an evening rich in beauty, tradition, and the joy of live performance. Join us for this landmark gathering!

Rama Vaidyanathan

A journey of poetry, passion, and devotion, inspired by the lives of two extraordinary female mystic poets -Janabai of Maharashtra and Lal Ded of Kashmir. Through Bharata Natyam, evocative storytelling, and the energy of a live musical ensemble, MAD & DIVINE brings their fearless voices and spiritual longing vividly to life. Moving between the intimate and the transcendent, this acclaimed production is a poetic encounter with two women who dared to seek the divine on their own terms.

Playful, imaginative, and full of surprises, Ramaa Bharadvaj takes audiences on a journey into the world of gods, sages, dancers, and storyteller- revealing how the art of Natya unfolded.

DAMARU – Duality

Sparsha Dance Ensemble – Concept & Choreography: Vidhya Subramanian

Inspired by the sacred damaru drum- the pulse of creation- this dynamic ensemble work explores the dualities that shape our world: sound and silence, stillness and movement, masculine and feminine, creation and dissolution. Eight dancers move through shifting patterns of rhythm and energy revealing a world where dualities converge, transform, and find harmony.

 

UNBOUND

Rasika Kumar

A deeply personal Bharata Natyam solo exploring identity and transformation. Drawing on the powerful imagery and energy of the Mahavidya goddesses, Rasika Kumar brings ancient archetypes into conversation with contemporary experience. UNBOUND moves through moments of vulnerability and strength, tracing an intimate journey toward self-understanding and freedom.
