The Registrar of Voters’ Office (ROV) has begun mailing County Voter Information Guides to all registered voters for the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election. This guide provides information on the candidates and measures on the ballot, alongside Vote Center locations, Official Ballot Drop Box locations, a sample of the Official Ballot, and election resources to help voters prepare for casting their ballot.
Voter guides will be mailed to all active voters who are registered to vote by October 4, 2025. Translated voter guides are available in Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese, and are sent to voters who have selected one of those as their preferred language for voting materials. Voters can check their voter registration status, register to vote, update their registration, or change their preferred language online at www.sccvote.org.
“With so many impactful issues in this special election, the County Voter Information Guide is an important tool to help voters successfully cast their ballot,” said Matt Moreles, Registrar of Voters. “Our goal is to provide a trusted source of nonpartisan election information so voters can learn what’s on the ballot, how and where to return their ballot, and the various language and accessibility options available for voters to make their voices heard in this election.”
To support environmental sustainability, voters also have the option and are encouraged to opt-out of receiving the printed paper voter guide and instead receive an electronic version available in all mandated languages. This can be done in less than five minutes by visiting sccvote.org/gogreen. The ROV will send an email with a link to the online version of the voter guide to voters who have chosen to go paperless.
Vote by Mail packets containing the official ballot for this election will be mailed to all active registered voters on October 6, 2025.
