The Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS) will marshal 150 delegates from across the United States to amplify the Indian American community’s political voice during a landmark Capitol Hill Advocacy Day on July 15. The initiative brings together representatives from over 25 states to engage more than 125 congressional offices on critical bilateral policy issues.

The advocacy day represents an effort to leverage the growing political influence of the 5.1 million-strong Indian American community, focusing on key policy areas including Indo-Pacific geopolitical strategy, bilateral defense and technology partnerships, immigration reform for high-skilled talent, and addressing hate crimes against minority communities.

The day will conclude with the U.S.-India Partnership Summit, featuring keynote remarks by India’s Ambassador to the U.S., H.E. Vinay Kwatra, highlighting the strategic importance of U.S.-India diplomatic relations.
