Screening of Ramanujan Movie on 28th May

Stanford India Policy and Economics Club  in collaboration with Stanford University Department of Mathematics, Indiaspora and Agastya International Foundation cordially invites you to the screening of the movie “The Man Who Knew Infinity” on May 28th, 2025, Wednesday from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in EVGR C Theatre to celebrate the bust unveiling of world renowned mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan at Stanford University Department of Mathematics.

Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920) was an Indian mathematician renowned for his extraordinary contributions to number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions. Despite lacking formal training in pure mathematics, he independently discovered and developed numerous groundbreaking theorems and equations. His work, much of which was self-taught from an older textbook, continues to inspire mathematical research today
