On November 15, the San Jose State University  (SJSU) hosted a conference about responsible innovation in AI. The Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship at SJSU, SJSU Lucas College & Graduate School of Business jointly organized the conference, which was attended by industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists. 

Lakshmi Shankar, VC at Together Fund delivered the keynote address titled “AI: Today, Tomorrow and The Future,” providing insights into the trajectory of AI development. Rama Akkiraju, VP of AI at Nvidia then delivered insights on implementing Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments, and Pankaj Kedia, Founder of 2468 Ventures, spoke about AI’s revolutionary influence on the healthcare sector.

There were also panel discussions about AI in education; healthcare innovation; and enterprise AI and investment at the conference. Professor Anuradha Basu, a Professor of Entrepreneurship in SJSUs Lucas College & Graduate School of Business, and Vasudha Badri-Paul, Founder of Avatara AI and Intel Corp Consultant served as conference chairs.
