“In Love with…”, a Solo Margam By Sweta Ravisankar

A solo recital “In Love With…” presented by Sweta Ravisankar in the South Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam accompanied by a stellar live music orchestra.

I will be presenting a Bharatanatyam margam, literally meaning a path, by selecting and weaving a story emerging from items she learned or choreographed over the pandemic and has been in love with ever since. I will also be talking about my relationship with these pieces, their evolution within me, and how it led to the lineup that will be presented. More about these explorations in the posts to come.
