Award-winning British-American journalist and writer Mehdi Hasan has joined The Guardian US as a regular columnist. He was previously host of The Mehdi Hasan Show on MSNBC and has written the New York Times bestseller Win Every Argument. He is the son of Indian immigrants from Hyderabad, and has a reputation for his hard-hitting, no-holds-barred style of journalism.
“We’re proud to provide a platform for his incisive political commentary, relentless advocacy for human rights and free speech, and fearless accountability for those in power,” said US Editor Betsy Reed on Hasan’s appointment.
