India Currents brings you a new podcast series called Sitare Spotlight, hosted by Saumya Balasubramanian, a tech executive, writer, and mother of two children. In this podcast, Saumya – who was showcased in our WeBelong series – will shine the spotlight on members from the South Asian diaspora who have inspirational stories to share.
Season 1 will feature conversations with entrepreneurs, artists, writers, cultural icons, and community leaders. The episodes – each roughly 25 minutes long – will be released on the India Currents YouTube channel.
“The universe we live in is vast and complicated, and there are as many versions of success as there are personalities in the world,” said Balasubramanian. “Inspiring people are the stars who shine brightly and steadily, doing good work, and exemplifying good traits. So, I wanted to learn a little bit from each of them, so we each in our turn could shine a little bit brighter, and make the world around us a better place.”
