On May 19, India Currents hosted its second Chai & Chat event with Managing Director Vijay Rajvaidya who spoke to veteran journalist Ritu Marwah about the epic 6000-mile journey he undertook on foot to all twelve Jyotirlinga temples across India.
The event, held via Zoom, was live-streamed on YouTube through the India Currents channel. About 30 guests from India and the United States joined the chat to ask Vijay questions about his adventure.
The padayatra is a recreation of a similar journey undertaken by Sri Adi Sankaracharya in the 8th century CE. Vijay shared his experiences from his walkabout, and what the future holds. He appealed to interested folks to get in touch if they wanted to become a part of this great adventure.
