DESCRIPTION:The annual Sikhlens Arts and Film Festival returns to Chapman University and The Frida Cinema in just over a month. Below are some highlight events from the lineup: \nFriday Night Red Carpet Night at Dodge College (7 PM-10 PM): Join us for a glamorous evening at Chapman’s Folino Theater led by MC Sumita Batra. Dean Stephen Galloway will offer welcoming remarks and Harjinder Sandhu will discuss AI and Films followed by the premiere of American Sikh introduced by Vishavjit Singh. We’ll also screen the Project Pakistan film Connecting the Dots and the feature film Sarabha-Cry for Freedom. \nSaturday at The Frida Cinema (10 AM – 9:30 PM): Enjoy a full day of films and special events from 10 AM to 6:30 PM\, including 20+ new short films\, Q&As with filmmakers\, a Creative Sikhs discussion\, and a two-person play by Davinder Singh. The evening concludes with two feature film presentations – Mastaney and Sardara & Sons. \nSunday at The Frida Cinema (10:30 AM – 8:30 PM): Another full day begins at 10:30 AM with 20+ short films and Q&As until 3:30 PM.
