Road to Galaata 2007!
Udavum Karangal is getting ready to host Galaata 2007, a popular Bay area program that showcases local talent among adults and children. Talented individuals can take part in a Tamil and Hindi singing competition in theGalaata Idol 2007 competition. A new round titled Sirippa? Seruppa? has been introduced to highlight talent in creating a skit or mimetic piece that will make the audience laugh. For those who follow the latest in Bollywood and Kollywood, Matinee Madness is where your knowledge about films and film songs can be tested to help you grab the spotlight. Preliminary rounds of competition in these three categories are listed below.

Galaata Idol 2007 Preliminary Round I Tamil and Hindi singing competition. Two finalists will sing live with the Bay Area band Pallavi on April 7 at Galaata 2007.
Sirippa? Seruppa? 2007 Preliminary Round I New comic talent competition. Participants can do a funny skit, mime, dance, sing funny songs or anything else that will make the audience laugh.
