DESCRIPTION:Desi Rainbow welcomes all to an inclusive\, affirming\, virtual celebration of Buddha Jayanti on May 15! \nRegistration is required. \nBuddha Jayanti or Buddha Purnima marks the birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha\, the founder of Buddhism. It is believed that this was also the day he attained enlightenment. Our celebration will uplift the voices of queer and trans Buddhists and South Asians. It includes a keynote from the Venerable Tashi Choedup\, facilitation by Dr. Tushar Bhagat and facilitated storytelling with Mohit Mehta. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n                                                         We will listen to affirming words from faith leaders and celebrate the joy of LGBTQ+ Buddhists.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER
